What if I don't own a steamer? - Don't worry we have you covered.

What if I don't own a steamer? - Don't worry we have you covered.

It's one of the most common questions customers raise ... "How do I steam a Love bun without a steamer?"

And to be honest, it is one of the easiest questions to answer.  (Not like listing all the ingredients that go into a golden playtime GF cake.)

Basically, you sit your buns in a bowl and steam the bowl in a saucepan!  The trick is actually to choose a bowl that fits neatly inside the saucepan so that the lid closes properly - after all, you need to build up a good sauna for your buns.

The second tip is (contrary to intuition) you choose a bowl with a curved bottom.  This allows any steam water to drain to the curved part of the bowl and not have your buns touch the water.

Unfortunately, we had to make the difficult decision to end the lease (at Newtown) to better the long term health of the overall business.  We are so grateful to have been an integral part of the ever growing Newtown vegan community and now have our efforts focused onto expanding our love across the broader parts of Sydney and beyond including the Central Coast...
